Refinishing your cabinets costs a fraction of replacing them. And done in a spray shop, the finish comes out better than what most new cabinets ship with.

Why the shop matters

Most painters refinish cabinets right where they hang. Doors get brushed or rolled in a kitchen full of dust, and your family works around the mess for a week.

We don’t do it that way. Doors and drawer fronts come off, get labeled, and go to our shop, where they’re sprayed on a rack in a booth and left to cure properly before anyone touches them. Boxes and face frames get finished on site to match.

What you end up with is a hard, even finish with no brush marks, no roller texture and no dust in the topcoat. On the surfaces your hands are on every single day, that difference shows.

How it goes

• We take them off and label them. Every door and drawer front gets numbered so it goes back exactly where it came from.
• We clean and degloss. Kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking grease. Paint will not stick to it, and this is the step cheap jobs skip.
• We sand and fill. Chips, dents and worn edges get filled and sanded flat.
• We prime and spray. Bonding primer first, then finish coats sprayed on the rack.
• We let them cure. Properly, before anything goes back together. Rushing this is why refinished cabinets sometimes stick shut.
• We reinstall and adjust. Hardware back on, doors lined up.
